Example Calculations

To perform a calculation of cell density you express the number of cells counted in the volume of fluid underneath the counting area.

If you have diluted your sample, you multiply your cell counts by the dilution factor at the end.

You will probably work out your own quick way of counting cells, but the following examples take you through step by step.
