
The School of Allied Health Sciences at De Montfort, led by Dr Vivien Rolfe, have released teaching resources as part of two national OER projects run by the JISC and the HEA. Virtual Analytical Laboratory (VAL) contains laboratory skills resources and SCOOTER are more specialist materials on the subject of sickle cell anaemia and thalassaemia. VAL was launch in October 2008 and has received over 10,000 visits from around the world (Google Analytics). SCOOTER was launched in November 2010 and is already building up an impressive following via the website and social networks.
